of Mission
Founded in 1892, Mission, British Columbia, Canada is located on a southern
slope overlooking the lush valley of the mighty Fraser River. A rapidly
growing and dynamic centre, Mission is surrounded by the incredible
beauty of mountainous vistas and natural forest settings. Our climate
is warm and tropical in the summer and mild and wet in the winter. Flowers
bloom most of the year, and the area is naturally hospitable to tropical
plant life. Topographically, Mission enjoys an immense variation of
hillsides and gullies which maintain natural neighbourhood enclosures,
spectacular views, and a sense of timelessness and security.
All the amenities of urban life are here - or very nearby - and are provided without any sacrifice to our "home town" feeling, or the very high quality of unspoiled lifestyle enjoyed by Mission's nearly 33,000 residents.
