It's the first drag race weekend of the year, so we
get to work with our new results/points system for the
very first time. Since it's a double header we plan
to post results each night and the points asap. This
is a work in progress so please bear with us at least
for this first weekend. Friday High School results
are posted here.

In response to a question to the track, regarding
the Automotive Training Centre Bracket Series points:
As stated at the February racer's meeting, It is the
best 10 out of 11 races including rainouts. This
same policy, on including rainouts, has been
in effect for at least the last six years. If you have
any questions please e-mail us at
info@missionraceway.com.

Drag Racing season is here!
Monday April 11, 2005
The 2005 drag racing season at Mission Raceway Park
opened this past Friday night for the first of 18 scheduled
Mopac Performance street legal events. A great field
of nearly 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles were on hand

Welcome to the new Mission Raceway Park website.
We have just gone live so please bear with us as we
continue to sort out any glitches. There is much more
to come in the near future, and please remember if you
have any suggestions, they can be sent to the MRP office
be e-mailing to info@missionraceway.com.
If you notice any errors or have any problems with the
site itself e-mail the Webmaster Larry Pfister at larryp@horsepowerheaven.com.
Items posted on this page will be updated as necessary
with no set schedule, then placed on catalogue page
as space fills up. Our new sponsor page is very important
to us, so if you are a track sponsor we urge you to
have a look and if you have a website and we have not
linked to it, simply send
the url to our Webmaster and it will be added asap.
And please note if you are not listed and feel you should
be please contact
the office as the webmaster does not have the authority
to ad or remove sponsor names.
There are many people involved with the site, and this
is a new program for all of us, so please allow a few
races to go by before we have a good handle on how we
manage everything. Our goal is to have an easy-to-use,
fast loading site that will be of benefit to not only
our track, but to our racers, sponsors, spectators and
visitors. We're all looking forward to a great season,
we sincerely hope you all get much use out of this website.
March 25, 2005
A few more pages up as well as a test
page for weekly results. Have a look and feel
free to comment.
March 19, 2005
Welcome to phase one of the new website for Mission
Raceway Park. What you see here is the basic design
that has already passed the testing of a good number
of people with various platforms and browsers. At this
time what little content here is temporary until
confirmed by track officials, so please hold your content
comments at this time. Wait until it's all finalized
and posted after April 1.
These pages have been designed so that most anyone
with a 1024x768 capable screen can view without any
side-to-side scrolling. If you have a smaller screen
we are sorry but this site will stay in this configuration.
This site's main focus is drag racing. The schedule
pages include the other components that make up MRP,
and on every page there are links to the road racing
and motocross sites. Other components of life at MRP
will be added as necessary.
These pages will be updated constantly the next couple
of weeks with the planned April 1 debut not a joke.
We still have many things to sort out, but our priorities
are regular, accurate drag racing updates, especially
for race results and points. Each and every drag race
weekend will eventually have it's very own results page.
The goal is to have this all sorted out by the first
drag race April 16/17.
Please have a look around and come back often. We value
your input, and will do all we can to satisfy your web
needs.
