Mission Raceway Park is owned and operated by the British Columbia Custom Car Association, Canada's oldest rod and custom car club established in 1952.

Sunday's rainout October 2, 2005 saw a group of club members and on-lookers participating in an official 'cracking of the concrete'.

Then bright and early (why wasn't it like this yesterday??) work began to double the length of concrete in each lane.

This is six inches, they'll go down at least a foot more.

For as solid as it looks, it's not as solid as it needs to be.
