Three finals were run today at MRP including the rained out Gold Card race.

Shawn Kvass won today's race of the 2005 Vancouver Community College Stock/Super Stock Combo Series. The Pitt Meadows driver took his K/SA '77 Firebird to a .020/12.23/12.235/106.18 victory over the big 1967 Plymouth SS/EA Hemi of Mission's Jim Isherwood who wheelstood his way to a .080/9.98/9.872/134.93. Earlier in qualifying, Peter Wille hammered the SS/A Cuda to an 8.84/153. Just a few thou off his personal best.

An Abbotsford driver won B.C. Super Shifter. Tim Elford in his '87 Mustang laid down an awesome oh oh two reaction time that may have had a part in Keith Winterbottom's -.004 red light in the wild 300 inch straight six powered '70 Maverick. Points leader Pat Byron lost to his closest competitor Terry Hoogstins on a -.034 round one red eye.

Ted Miller (far lane) of Surrey won the Gold Card race in his 1970 Nova running .068/11.53/11.612/115.28 to defeat Burnaby's Ray Bollinger who carded a .187/10.81/10.808/122.29 in his '69 Nova.

In CPSA action Dal Sangha is the only Pro Street on-site, but laid down a nice 6.95/204.73 mph blast in his single turbo, smallblock Mustang.
