Victoria's Craig Donaldson had the phones ringing in the tower this afternoon with webcam viewers wanting to know how bad Eddie Eng's Firebird was before it was even towed off. This after maybe the burnout of all time at MRP. Going large for the win in the Doorslammer burnout contest, 'Lumpy' lost it at the end of a high speed 300+ foot rooster tail of white spinning twice and tagging the left wall with both the front and the back of the black bird. Late word was the body was going to Token, and the car was not seriously damaged.

Local door car fans have had the sheer thrill of watching Fred Holz's huge horsepower Chevy II here all the way from Eagle Colorado. Over 800 inches of all motor making a rumored 1700+ ponies, this thing is door car drag racing at it's most exciting best. He's not made a full hit yet, but ran seven teens in Denver and has come here with the expressed wish of a six second time slip.
