We were unable to secure all the results we were trying for from Friday July 7, but did capture this sequence of Rich Woods behind the wheel of Jim Sipocz's '51 Chevy Pickup. Woods was the driver who put his Yenko Nova on the bumper here a couple of years ago, and again was able to bring a big one down with little damage. "Truck is fine, just broke swing arms", Sipocz said. Woods meanwhile was shaking his head after he saw these photos. "I tried to bring it down as smooth as I could."

Just before the run Sipocz warned photographers that they would be trying the bottle for the first time and that "It might wheelie...or it might blow up"! Thanks to a driver who knew what to possibly expect, this truck will be out at future MOPAC Street Legal Fridays on the stickiest strip in the west - Mission Raceway Park!
