Doorslammer racer Klohn got behind the wheel of Bill Friend's mid sixties Fomoco and laid down a pair of low elevens Friday night. Then on Sunday, the owner rowed down the track to his first ever ten second pass - on his 70th birthday!! Friend has owned and raced this piece since new, always with stick shift, and to top it all off DRIVES it over from the island each and every Super Shifter weekend. Amazing.

The ole man from Maple Ridge drives down the highway on his almost stock Kawasaki and wastes all kids running well over a buck fifty deep into the nines. Not bad for a sixty year old.
